So I a have a few questions. But first let me tell you some stuff. I am going on the Navigator of the Seas on March 19, 2016. Traveling with my mom (41) and I'm 18 (19th birthday is during the cruise)!

When we stop in Haiti, is there a BBQ? And can we use our drink packages on the beach?

Also, can I use the Solarium or is it for 21 and over? I like the idea of relaxing poolside with no screaming kids (I love kids and am not trying to be mean). TIA!!!

(Assuming you're talking about labadee) there is a BBQ in Haiti and yes you can use your drink packages at the beach. (Independent of your question, I HIGHLY recommend the zip line, the little roller coaster thing they have is fun too)

You can most likely use the solarium without issue as long as you don't act like a kid, they don't walk around asking people for ID, it's just supposed to be a quieter more adult relaxed type atmosphere.

If that stop in Haiti is RCI's private beach -- yes there will be a BBQ.

Most of the private islands that we have been on can not accept the beverage cards as the islands do not have computers to scan your card. Drinks are charged to your shipboard account.

Best place to ask RCI questions is on their board.

You can also play in the ship's casino if you like -- 18 is the minimum age. 21 is still the alcohol age though. You'll like the Navigator. Be sure to see the free ice show. And you might enjoy the disco each night in the Viking Crown lounge (the semi-circle glass area on deck 14 behind and above the main pool area). Also, food except for specialty restaurants -- even in the main dining room (MDR) -- is "all you can eat". Go ahead and order 5 or 6 starters and 2 or 3 entrees if you want and can eat them. As for the solarium, you might have problems finding a lounge chair -- these chairs are the most comfortable lounge chairs on the ship and go quickly. The 2 hot tubs in the solarium are very large so you won't have problems using them. There are plenty of other places to sit without screaming kids. There is a nice area above the deck 12 forward cabins that is seldom used -- use the stairs on deck 12 outside near the entrance to the inside elevators. Deck 4 outside is also nice and usually quiet. And it is OK to take food and drink to these areas. Enjoy your cruise.
