teachtocruis Posted December 13, 2015 #1 Share Posted December 13, 2015 How close to a sailing have you been assigned a room? We booked an inside guarantee about a 4 weeks ago for a sailing this Friday and do not yet have a cabin number. We are getting antsy but not worried. Just so they let us on. Colo Cruiser Posted December 13, 2015 #2 Share Posted December 13, 2015 (edited) There are lots of threads on this, here is one.... http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=2229925&highlight=assigned+room You can be assigned up to a couple of days prior. Even though the personalizer closes within 5 days or so of the cruise you can see any cabin change on the travel summary/bag tags which is available up to embarkation. Shogun Posted December 13, 2015 #8 Share Posted December 13, 2015 Hi colo Princess wanted to take a block of cabins out for maintenance, but had to wait until after sailing to see who had boarded, we had a holding cabin, we were then given our cruise cabin and had to get new cruise cards etc. yours Shogun

Our ship is coming to us from a 3 day coastal after a 10 day dry dock. Wonder if that has anything to do with it?

Wonder if that has anything to do with it? Unlikely. Not to worry, you'll have a cabin! Just keep checking the personalizer, or boarding documents. Enjoy your cruise!
