Wheelchair Rental - Galveston

Can any one recommend a wheelchair rental company near Galveston that will deliver to the Port of Galveston? There is an elderly person in my family reunion group that has a very hard time getting around long distances and we are hoping to rent a wheelchair for use on the ship and ports. Any suggestions would be great. Thanks!

The only medical supply in Galveston is Behrens at 2902 R 1/2 409-621-1167.

You should also check with the cruise line as they have wheel chairs aboard the ships.

We rented one through the cruise line a few years ago for my mom.

The cruise line should be able to refer you to a company they have an agreement with to rent a wheelchair.

There is now a charge and they have very few of them. It is also nearly impossible to get one for your sole use the entire cruise. Had it happen to people we met in the CL. They had to fight tooth and nail
