We have visited Roatan previously and on an excursion, visited a great beach. It had a man made lagoon, served a all you can eat lunch outside and on the backside of the lagoon, it had a nice pool. Must have been a resort as there were buildings that were vacation locations. Took apprx 25 minutes to get there from the dock seem to think via a bus. From this description, anyone recognize it? Like to visit in November on another cruise.

Parrot Tree (pic here) and Fantasy Island (pic here) both have man made lagoons. Fantasy Island's looks a bit more natural thought it is not, it has been there for ages longer than Parrot Tree.

If neither of those look familiar... perhaps someone else can help.

Sounds like Parrot Tree- great pool and very quiet! It has been several years since we visited. We went both times with a private driver, which we had for the day - once for a short visit to look around and the second time for the day.

We just bought a day pass and food and drink as we required. However I think in more recent years it has been offered as an excursion through some of the cruise lines, (maybe NCL/ Carnival?) and therefore maybe their transport was by bus and I think they did arrange an included buffet lunch.
