3redheads Posted October 5, 2005 #1 Share Posted October 5, 2005 Just booked this last minute cruise about 1-2 weeks ago, through RCCL, when should I get my documents? Will they come in an email or snail mail? When we booked through an agency, we got e-docs. Thanks Kim
critterchick Posted October 5, 2005 #2 Share Posted October 5, 2005 We always gotten the docs from our TA by Fedex. We usually get them about 4 weeks out, but for our last cruise didn't receive them until 2 weeks out. I don't know how RCCL does it when you book directly, though. wrp96 Posted October 5, 2005 #3 Share Posted October 5, 2005 When I've gone through a TA, I've usually gotten them about 30 days out. If you haven't seen them at 2 weeks out, I would start calling RCI to find out where they are. Last time I booked directly with RCI about 5 weeks before the cruise, I was told that my docs would go out that week. Well, about 4-1/2 weeks and several long phone calls later, they still had not printed my docs (or booked my airplane flights) because of an error in their system. I finally received my docs via UPS Overnight the night before the cruise.
Sheffie Posted October 5, 2005 #4 Share Posted October 5, 2005 Kim, can I sneak into your suitcase?
Jimbo Posted October 5, 2005 #5 Share Posted October 5, 2005 You don't even need the docs to board anymore. Do the SetSail Pass thing on the Royal Caribbean site online. Pick-up Luggage Tags at the Pier, Just write your Name and Cabin Number, and Deck on the tags and bring your Id's and you are set board. It's a snap!
