Hi everyone! We r sailing on the Eclipse in February and have only been on one other Celebrity cruise about 10 + years ago. We just upgraded to a family verenda room n was wonder if anyone had any tips/insights on this category. Also, we r diamond plus on Rcl, what does that transfer to on Celebrity?

Thanks in advance for ur help!

Hi there - not sure if it's the same room, but we stayed for two weeks last May in a Family Room on the Silhouette. Is your cabin at the bow (front) of the ship, with windows facing forward and to the side? If that's the same room, I can tell you that we absolutely loved it. We loved having all that space, and views in two directions. We would book that cabin again in a heartbeat.

You would be Elite on Celebrity. Need to sign up for Captain's Club and provide trhem your RCCL number before you cruise for Elite Benefits. See the website under Captains Club for all the details - this art of the website works fine.

Thanks for the advice! I am really nervous because I switched rooms so close to sail date.... Visions of getting there and having no room!!! Lol! The family room just seems like it would be perfect for us.... We r sailing with our 24 year old son and r super excited that he has his own room ( aka cave!) . Hubby and son r up at the crack of dawn n it will b nice for me not to have to get up with them if I feel like sleeping in after 5 am! I'm super excited and can't wait!!!!
