Toiletries

Just curious if Carnival still supplies some of the basic toiletries in each cabin or stateroom? I know that there is a large bodywash and shampoo in the shower, but what about face soap, possibly a small razor, etc? Thanks for the help!!!:D I will be experiencing my first cruise on the Imagination in February 2016!!!!!

Body wash & shampoo from a wall dispenser.

The in-cabin "freebies" from days gone by are no more.

In the shower soap/shampoo dispenser, and a bar of soap for the sink. Obviously tissues and TP included too. But nothing else, pack whatever you'll need.

The other items were samples given to Carnival by various companies wanting to advertise their products. John Heald said that Carnival isn't receiving them anymore, so there's none to give out.

I was very disappointed on our Pride cruise this past August when that little bowl of goodies in the bathroom wasn't there! At first I thought maybe the room steward forgot, but he assured me that Carnival no longer provides those "samples". Of course, it doesn't make or break the cruise experience, but it was a nice little touch. Same thing with the chocolates on the pillow at night. It made the room feel more "luxury". Like a hotel that is now a motel.

A word of advise take a small room spray for the bathroom too

Unfortunately you are comparing apples to oranges here. The chocolates indeed represent a "cut" by Carnival. The samples do not. They were never something that Carnival purchased. They were given to Carnival for free, and Carnival is simply not receiving them anymore. Not Carnival's fault.
