Two to Three couples will be staying at a Miami hotel this November. We are looking for advice about transportation from FLL(Fort Lauderdale) to Miami. Our plan is to come a day or two ahead of boarding the Celebrity Eclipse. We are likely to have lots of luggage. Suggestions about ride-sharing as well as private vehicle would be appreciated.

From FLL to downtown Miami hotels a taxi will run about $75-80+tip -- if all of you plus bags can fit into one SUV/minivan cab that's an easy option. UBER XL might save you a few $$ off of the cab fare, but availability could be an issue. The trip will take 45-60+ minutes.

 

Go Airport shuttle is based in the FLL airport and offers both shared shuttle service as well as private transport - they will give you a quote on line. I would also check with Larry's Limos and John's Car Service - both are often suggested on this board.
