HowardK Posted January 18, 2016 #1 Share Posted January 18, 2016 Hello, I typically book NCL's Platinum insurance- coverage seems to be $50,000 evacuation (I am in NJ), $20,000 medical/$20,000 sickness. Now, I quite possibly have travel insurance to some extent with either my AMEX or Mastercard (depending which one I book) and maybe some with my normal health insurance. -Has anyone used a combination of NCL's and coverage from the credit card, and if so , what order? Is $50,000 enough evacuation coverage- and if not would any coverage from AMEX for example cover the difference? I am aware that 3rd party plans cover higher evacuation amounts but like being able to book protection when booking the cruise (I know it's a tradeoff)
Rare Keith1010 Posted January 26, 2016 #2 Share Posted January 26, 2016 I try to get more for Evacuation Insurance but part of that depends on where we are sailing. I would call NCL to ask if coverage can be combined and also Amex/Master Card. Keith
