Daylight Savings Time Official?

It does if you are doing something local, that starts and ends based on local time.

Wait until closer to your cruise date and ask again, or Google 'current time in grand cayman' just before you leave to get a more definitive answer. It's really too soon to know if the DST thing will go through or not.

And the whole plan is off!

As reported by the Cayman News Service

Daylight saving time plans shelved

Hmmm, makes thing easier for our itinerary I guess, as we have three ports in a row on EST, and NCL uses local time as ship time, but I wonder if it change ships' arrival and departure times? I not sure if NCL took possible switch to DST into account when listing or time in port (8 am - 4 pm Wed March 16, 2016).
