jmccoll4 Posted January 22, 2016 #1 Share Posted January 22, 2016 I just posted a bit ago about asking how many times I could change my fare. I thought I saw a price drop, but once I went back and looked at it, seems nothing had changed. My question is now, exactly where do I go to look for the price changes. I am booked on Carnival Liberty for the 9th of April. I keep seeing people say where they see the price changes, but I guess I am not going to the right place. Can anyone tell me where I check the price change on fares? This is my first go around at this and more confused than I thought..
zoncom Posted January 22, 2016 #2 Share Posted January 22, 2016 You will see different pricing on the various discount cruise agency web sites, the cruise line site and calling directly.Just like air fares, pricing changes constantly. Pays to spend some time searching. On Board credits usually come rfom these agencies.Watch out for date final payment is due. Then its usually too late for changes. momof3cruisers Posted January 22, 2016 #3 Share Posted January 22, 2016 A lot of people just do a mock booking on the Carnival website. Go through and pick the exact same options as you already have booked and then before you get to the part where you fill in your info, you will have the price incl taxes and port fees. S.S.Oceanlover Posted January 22, 2016 #7 Share Posted January 22, 2016 Thank you Zoncom. I will start checking sites. If by some odd chance you happen to find a website with a lower price than Carnival, Carnival will not match the price. Best to just fareviewer Bill

ohitssunshine Posted January 23, 2016 #9 Share Posted January 23, 2016 So if I booked norm, not nearly saver - are there any ways to get a lower price?
mistycruiser Posted January 23, 2016 #10 Share Posted January 23, 2016 If you booked non early saver and it's prior to final payment date, then yes you can request the lower rate. After final payment date, no. But if a higher category cabin is available for the amount you paid or less sometimes you can get an upgrade.
