Update from the Sky: All inclusive Wines

On the Sky right now and wanted to update on the wine situation with the all inclusive. At first we were offered either red or white at lunch which were the NCL signature North and South white and red blends.

We pressed the waiter for the wine list and received the one that was posted earlier that had the bottles for sale and a few up charge wines by the glass.

We asked again if those were the only choices and he said he went and got us the cocktail menu. In there these are the listed complimentary wines:

Prosecco

Moscato

Riesling

Pinot Grigio

Sauvignon Blanc

Chardonnay

Rose/Blush

Pinot Noir

Shiraz

Merlot

Malbec

Cabernet Sauvignon

At our table we had the Pinot Grigio, Moscato, Riesling, Sauvignon Blanc and they were all very good.

We didn't do much all day, hung out and had a few drinks, some snoozed because it was pouring rain all day. Into the casino when it opened, made a donation and then off to dinner at Le Bistro.

We had a group of 6 and Le Bistro on the Sky is really narrow, so we had a table for 2 and a booth for 4. Service was amazing! We had 5 different wines on the go, all by the glass and complimentary. The waiter had all of the ones we liked on ice (if they were white) in an ice bucket just as if we'd bought the bottles. He would come by and refill while we were eating. Food was all great. 3 had the SDP for 3 nights, and 3 are getting a $75 casino credit for food and beverages, so it wasn't worth buying the SDP. The waiter put all of our apps and desserts on the tickets of the SDP people and we were only charged for our entrees. One of the crew only ordered 2 entrees, so she got no bill. Our waiter was great, so we left him a nice cash tip. I was very impressed with everything, and blown away about the wines and how they were handled.

We're going to Cagney's tonight, will sign in tomorrow to let you know how that goes.

Thanks for the update! With the pressing that had to be done to get the list, it sounds like they're only trying to pour the two for the most part. I wonder if it will eventually just go to that (only two available.)

I sure hope not!!

Cagney's tonight was okay. Steak was okay, service was okay, sides were okay. Nothing blew anyone away. Very basic.

Sad to see that the a la carte menus and the food are the same as the old menus, not what we were provided with on the Escape. No prime rib on the menu in Cagneys, which is what I was hoping for.

No amazing service tonight, but we'll see what happens in the Italian restaurant tomorrow.

Seas too rough and not safe to tender tomorrow, so we stayed docked in Nassau overnight.

Will check in tomorrow.

Thanks for checking in. Very curious about Sky all inclusive sailings. Le Bistro is narrow and if you get seated at the tables, the people at the booth have no option but to stare at you all night LOL ;)

Its 47 degrees in Miami right now. Enjoy the Bahamas!

Thanks for your updates! We sail on 2/22 and any info and reviews are appreciated.

No problem at all. We had dinner in Il Adagio last night and it too was just okay. We had a blast though. Lost some money in the casino, the casino staff as always is awesome.
