Beehive Posted October 7, 2005 #1 Share Posted October 7, 2005 We've been "upgraded" from the Emerald Deck to the Aloha deck, cabin with a balcony in both cases. Anything we should know about the Aloha Deck??? First time on Coral to Panama, but have been to Bermuda and Alaska...
terrierjohn Posted October 7, 2005 #2 Share Posted October 7, 2005 Some of the Aloha balconies are totally open, whereas Emerald are covered, and as a result can be viewed from the Lido deck. Also some people have complained that cabins beneath the Horizon Court can be noisy. But on the plus side you are very close to the sun deck. sherman931 Posted October 7, 2005 #3 Share Posted October 7, 2005 If you look at the photo on this link, it appaers that the balconies on Aloha in the bumpout sections are partially covered and all others are fully covered. http://image28.webshots.com/28/5/8/77/237150877qYuqTI_fs.jpg
KAJOKG Posted October 7, 2005 #4 Share Posted October 7, 2005 We were in a mini suite...A503, on the Aloha deck. This cabin was 3/4 covered, as were the rest of the balcony cabins in the bumpout section. There was no open deck above us, so we had privacy from above. We liked the cabin and this location very much.
terrierjohn Posted October 8, 2005 #5 Share Posted October 8, 2005 It depends where your cabin is as to whether it's covered or open. The attached photo shows Port side stern cabins in grade BC, all these balconies can be viewed from the Lido deck. http://boards.cruisecritic.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=12185&stc=
