Constellation 6116 vs. 6130

We are currently booked in S2 6116 and have the opportunity to upgrade to S1 6130 for $100 pp. The deck plans seem to show that 6130 has a deeper veranda, but I have read reviews that say that isn't the case. Is there any difference between these cabins? Is the view from the veranda better in 6130 (it seems to be a little closer to the outside edge of the deck below, and instead of being over a lifeboat it is over a big white rectangle)?

If I recall correctly, 6030 is considered a Sweet Sixteen and is indeed known for it's deeper balcony. What is an S2 and S1? I do not recall those cabin distinctions. We had a Sweet Sixteen cabin and the balcony was mostly covered but similar to a Millennium class aft facing balcony in size.

Not 6030, 6130. I'm asking about the differences in Sky Suites 6116 and 6130, both aft on the starboard side.

I was in 6130 a couple of months ago. Not having been in 6116 it's hard to compare apples to apples, but the balcony did not strike me as especially large. 6132 next door has a small bump out, so not much of a view aftward, and expect to see your neighbors if you're up at the railing. The view forward is probably a bit better than in 6116, though.

It was a nice cabin but given the close-up placement to the 6132 balcony I don't know if I'd opt to stay in it again. YMMV.

I also had the option of 6127 which is one cabin forward on the port side (and therefore a little bit away from that bump-out), but our cruise ends with a mid-day arrival in Venice so I thought the starboard side would have the better view.

Here's a (not very exciting!) photo I took from the 6130 balcony looking forward toward Key West. It's quite open but when I wanted a really nice vista of something I hoofed it to one of the main decks. I wouldn't choose that cabin just for the view--but I'd also probably spend half of my time wondering if I should have taken the cabin and wind up going for the upgrade anyway!
