melted2002 Posted January 27, 2016 #1 Share Posted January 27, 2016 I just want to know did the drink package prices increase ? I bought one for my Cruise in 2015 ( not going this year ) I have harmony booked for Feb. 2017 and looked at the prices this time and they are higher but can not see if the prices now include the tax. Purchased for $49.00 per day plus Tax This time I see it listed $57.00 Same package

BekkaW Posted January 27, 2016 #3 Share Posted January 27, 2016 It used to be $49 plus gratuity (not tax) which worked out to about $55. It's now $57 and some cents but that includes gratuity
melted2002 Posted January 27, 2016 Author #4 Share Posted January 27, 2016 So you now ad 18% on top of the $57.00 price per day ? so now it is $67.26 per day ??

melted2002 Posted January 27, 2016 Author #7 Share Posted January 27, 2016 Thanks all This makes a little more sense as I see it is $57.82 total per day. I know I may not get my money's worth but like the freedom of not having to think about it.
BekkaW Posted January 27, 2016 #8 Share Posted January 27, 2016 That freedom is definitely a plus to the packages :) enjoy your cruise

Look again at post #2, and add 18% to those prices. I just purchased, the select package for a Jan 2017 Anthem cruise and it used what i believe is the old pricing, of $42 a day instead of the 39 + 18%, however for my Upcoming 5 night on brilliance it was the 39 +18%. Any known rhyme or reason to the different pricing structures?

kilpa482 Posted January 31, 2016 #11 Share Posted January 31, 2016 Royal's website programming issues? Possibly, I was thinking perhaps the longer cruises were staying at the old prices, assuming on the shorter cruises people may drink more per day than the longer. I purchased it just in case to lock in the price. Roughly $500 for 12 nights of beer/wine seemed fair.
