Rare rjm11 Posted February 1, 2016 #1 Share Posted February 1, 2016 We are going on the NCL Gem next fall R/T out of San Juan.... and on debarkation day there's a good looking flight that leaves at 9:45. We will have priority suite debarkation- but is this still cutting it too close? How close is the pier to the airport? How plentiful are taxis? etc.
sail7seas Posted February 1, 2016 #2 Share Posted February 1, 2016 (edited) That is too early and risky. You have to clear CBP at the cruise terminal, get a taxi, get to the airport, clear Agriculture and then clear TSA. San Juan Airport can be very busy. I would not book that flight. You don't know what time they will begin disembarking guests. Edited February 1, 2016 by sail7seas
Kikkycat Posted February 1, 2016 #3 Share Posted February 1, 2016 This past Tuesday we saw people literally running down the hall to get on the planes as "final boarding" announcements were made. A couple on our flight said the line at TSA was over an hour long, and they had gotten to the airport two hours before their flight, and barely made it.
