San Pedro Port

I read somewhere, possibly here somewhere but can't find, that when you get to the port you can drop your luggage and then go explore town for a little bit. There were free "buses" or something similar that goes to certain areas in San Pedro. Am I dreaming I read this somewhere or is this the case? lol I think I am losing it. Thanks!

I'll tag on to this, if you CAN drop your luggage, what time do you think they start accepting it? We have a really early flight in that morning (in case something happens, we can actually drive to the port in time) and would like to drop our luggage (around 8:30-9) and then come back later.

San Pedro is very walkable...but there is a Trolley along the waterfront:
