zenshift Posted February 4, 2016 #1 Share Posted February 4, 2016 This is aimed at the Pearl, but anyone with an answer would help. How many table games, specifically black jack, are there in the casino and what are the table limits (day/night)? Do they still use human dealers or have they made it all electronic? Thanks. yummysbakery Posted February 4, 2016 #2 Share Posted February 4, 2016 Human dealers, maybe 8-10 blackjack tables some ships also have a small high roller table area. $6-100 minimum is what i usually see. I dont know what the max is or if there is one. Sent from my LGLS991 using Tapatalk

If you are playing on a table with a limit below $25, often $50 like at night, it will be on an continuous automatic shuffler, not shoe. Still hand dealt though. Blackjack puts 6:5 on $6 table and I feel like if you play on $15 or higher limit it pays 3:2.
Sizzlechest Posted February 4, 2016 #4 Share Posted February 4, 2016 Someone mentioned that the computer Blackjack machine on the Gem is gone after the refurb. It was $5 min and late surrender (but dealer hit soft 17).
skeeter195 Posted February 4, 2016 #5 Share Posted February 4, 2016 NCL has always been willing to raise table stakes on BJ. I have seen as high as $1000 min this past year. As of October they were still hand shuffling on the $50 and up tables with 3:2 on BJ. The lower tables had shuffling machines and 6:5 on BJ. EleventyBangBang Posted February 4, 2016 #6 Share Posted February 4, 2016 (edited) What are the typical minimums/odds on craps? (On the Escape, if it matters, but I assume it doesn't.) Edited February 4, 2016 by EleventyBangBang
zenshift Posted February 4, 2016 Author #7 Share Posted February 4, 2016 Thank you all for the information ... I'm more interested in lower limits, and the ones on craps as well. I like playing cards and craps, but $25 minimums really make it difficult to justify sitting for a while.
skeeter195 Posted February 4, 2016 #8 Share Posted February 4, 2016 Here is what I have experienced within the last year. Gem: BJ-smallest table $6 min with 6:5 on a BJ craps-$5 min with 3-4-5 odds Breakaway: BJ-same $6 min with 6:5 on a BJ craps-$10 min with 3-4-5 odds. There were 2 tables with only both open 2 nights, once there was a $5 min on one of the tables

Silc Posted February 5, 2016 #11 Share Posted February 5, 2016 Several years ago on the Dawn, they had a few BJ tables on the Lido deck. Best sea day ever! Do any of their ships still offer that - specifically the Epic? Thanks! Silc
