family beach photos

My family and I are getting ready cruise on the norwegian getaway to the western caribbean. I am thinking about ordering a private family photo session on a beach. Just curious if anyone has done this and if so what they thought of the experience. How much did it cost? How were the quality of the pictures? Any info is greatly appreciated.
