Port Everglades - ease of pickup with Uber?

I just got on this page and saw a million posts about Uber, but just curious -

 

I'm an experienced Uber rider, so I get the basics...but just curious about the ease of finding the driver in the post-debarkation madness at Port Everglades.

 

Is there a specific spot they queue up that's separate from standard taxis? I know you can speak on the phone with the driver and have the photo of the car etc., but would like to have some info before we get off the ship later this month.

I've read that they use the 'private pickup' areas at each terminal. I'm not an Uber driver :D but I picked up DD and her family recently at Port Everglades. They were directed to the private pickup area by port/terminal staff as they exited the building and as I drove up to the terminal that area was well marked for incoming drivers.
