Port or Star board going to South America?

It is almost always well out to sea and the coast is sort of a grey line in the distance. For entering the ports probably the Port side being a little better as you are more often on he land side. Ships cruise some miles from shore and the coastline quickly loses almost all detail. Also few lights on that journey. It is however a magnificent trip. Hope you have wonderful weather.
