Monte Carlo Grand Prix

As far as I am aware the race can't overrun. There is a set time limit for each race.

I think I remember once when there was very heavy rain, that was expected to clear later ,they did delay the restart of the race until things were safer.Lots of aquaplaning, so stop race and delay restart.

The captain may have a small leeway to delay leaving, but it would probably reach a point when they have to say we have to leave by xx. In which case ,on a ships excursion they would notify the leader who I assume would gather everyone up.

I still think there would be a very slight chance that if there was very bad weather the Captain could delay leaving by x amount. If the race was going to finish after that, you may have to leave before the end.

I've got my own tickets for the race and was going to book the oceana. P&o are only doing a escorted tour to the race so it means I would end up with two sets of tickets.

I am not sure about getting my own transfer on race day (not a problem normally just jump on the train). However I think I. Going to book p&o trip and a ticket for the hill and try and sell them on the gate or give them away.

Unless someone tell me about a transfer from villafranche to monaco on race day

You could always go raving bonkers and book the Star Clipper Cruise on Star Flyer 28 May 2016. This does the GP and they are pretty focused on what will be the business excursionwise. It's a Nice (town) fly cruise.
