SUZIEN48 Posted April 28, 2004 #1 Share Posted April 28, 2004 After embarkation on the Caribbean Princess, is there anyplace to have something to eat before sailing? I'll be on the Oct. 9th voyage. Anyone else going on that sailing? SUZIE
Nitemare Posted April 28, 2004 #2 Share Posted April 28, 2004 Lots and lots and lots of food. Check the Princess Roll Call forum for other folks on that cruise.
sue d. miller Posted April 28, 2004 #3 Share Posted April 28, 2004 Yes there will. The horizon court buffet is open, and there may be a dining room as well. Plenty to eat. Burgers and pizza are available by the main pool as well. Have a great cruise. derf5585 Posted April 28, 2004 #4 Share Posted April 28, 2004 Let me welcome you to cruisecritic I looked at this message because I thought maybe Princess was offering a diet cruise with no food available. But as always I was wrong. SUZIEN48 Posted April 28, 2004 Author #5 Share Posted April 28, 2004 Derf - Now I feel stupid!!!! Certainly didn't think there was no food on the ship, but hubby just likes to know if he can eat lunch after he boards so he doesn't have to stop for something. Since this is our first Princess cruise he just wanted to be sure!!!! spongerob Posted April 28, 2004 #7 Share Posted April 28, 2004 Most everyone heads for Horizon Court, the pizza place, or the burger grill. Usually one of the dining rooms is open for lunch. If so, give that a try; it's a nice change of place after the bustle of getting to the port, checking in, and embarkation. After all, who wants to stand in yet another line? Rare Vacation Nut Posted April 28, 2004 #9 Share Posted April 28, 2004 On our first cruise we wondered exactly the same thing about whether there would be food. It was great to get on board and find that the Horizon Court was open. I still remember the excitement of that first meal on the ship. I bet you are already counting the days --- we are until our next: Caribbean Princess Aug 21st
