Pippa and Toby Posted February 12, 2016 #1 Share Posted February 12, 2016 Have a query, do they still have buckets of beer (5 for 4 price) on the Diamond Princess when it sails in Australia/New Zealand anymore? If so, any idea how much and which beers? Can they be unopened to take back to your balcony? Thanks. :)

Thanks. :) Don't know about the Diamond but the 'buckets' were available on the Dawn out of Sydney last month. You can purchase a similar package through room service. My husband ordered the Cascade Light. $27.50 for five. Can't remember any of the others except Heineken. Easier to put them straight in your fridge than have them sitting around in the hot sun. jennybenny Posted February 16, 2016 #3 Share Posted February 16, 2016 Check to see if it's something you can pre-buy for your cabin. If it's there, I'm guessing it will be on the cruise as well.

Don't think I've ever seen the room service beer package in the Cruise Personaliser but it's worth a look. We've ordered a similar room service wine package in the past - 4 mini bottles for about the same price as the beers - but we were told it's not available on the Australian cruises. I'm too late to correct this post but you can pre purchase the beer package through the cruise personaliser. Dos Equis $24.50, Heineken $26.57 and Budweiser/Budweiser Light ffor $29.10 each. No Cascade unfortunately.

My Cruise Personalizer is showing several 5 for the cost of 4 beers packages-think Heinekin and Dos Equis IIRC. Not a beer drinker here. HTH. oldjetdriver Posted February 16, 2016 #7 Share Posted February 16, 2016 If you plan ahead go for the 'Buy 1 get 1 for $1.00' drink at Crooners 3:00 to 4:00 each day. Also 10:00 to 11:00 at one of the bars if you are a night owl.
