Has anyone ever used cricket cellular service aboard any Rccl ships?

A few people in our party going on cruise have cricket cellular service..whole the rest of us have sprint or att. We all planned to use the whatsap app to communicate while onboard, will those with cricket cellular have an issue? Not sure how that service fares. Thanks

WhatsApp uses internet, not cellular SMS. As long as all the phones have WiFi and pay for cruise ship internet, WhatsApp should work. Put the phones in airplane mode to make sure there are no cellular charges.
