Snorkel Recommendations

Should we looks at booking one of the cruise ships snorkelling packages or should I do it on my own in St. Thomas. Was thinking of trying Fury Charters. Also what pier does NCL spirit use? Thanks in advance for help. Not sure if it makes a difference but I have three teenagers, 14, 15 &16.

It depends on whether you want to snorkel from the beach or from a boat.

If you are interested in snorkeling with sea turtles, take one of the many excursions to Turtle Cove. Private operator better than ship sponsored, IMO. Very popular area!

 

For snorkeling from a beach, try Sapphire Beach. Just take a taxi there and back. Cheaper than ship excursion.
