VOS embarkation time Cape Liberty

Hi. This board has been very informative. We will be on the 11/4 VOS from Bayonne. We have our cruise documents, and they state that embarkation is at 2:30pm and the ship sails at 5pm. This seems like a very late embarkation time. On previous cruises (Disney, Princess and RC) we were on the ship anywhere from @ 11:30am. Does anyone know how early we can get on the ship?

 

Also, the docs reference the wireless internet from the cabin. We have a laptop. Does anyone know how much it costs?

We were on voyager 9/9/05.We got to the peir at 12 and were on the boat by 12:45.Pretty quick process compared to the ny peir on the other side with carnival which took 3 hrs.The only hitch is they won't let you into your room until after 1 so go get some lunch or a drink and relax.Unfortunatly i can't say the same about the disembarktion,kicked out of rooms at 8,coffee shut off at 9 and had to wait until almost 12 to get off.good luck

Embarkation was very fast. We were there at noon and on board by 12:30 pm. disembarkation unfortunately, was another story. Considering we didn't get off until sometime after 11 am, I wonder what time they started letting people on.
