Port canaveral cruise port shopping ?

There isn't a marketplace close to Port Canaveral. The closest is about 1 mile from the the port . Any major market places are a good 30 minutes away from the pier.

There is a RonJon hut and a bait and tackle shop where you can purchase snacks and souvenirs. They are both small and not worth getting off the ship for.

Unless you book and excursion, there is nothing to do in Port Canaveral. It is simply a place for the ship to dock. You'd think with all the cruise ships that stop and depart from there that there would be more to do, but there isn't.

Depends where the ship will dock. We were there on the Breakaway in December and they used the new dock and there were some shops and restaurants within walking distance. It's all at Cruise terminal one. I think we'll probably dock there again next week, since we're the only ship in port that day. We had lunch/drinks at a nice place called "Fish Lips" in December...we had to take a taxi there in the past when we docked a bit further away.
