Breakaway Haven H5 rooms

I don't really know the numbers of NCL ship staterooms, but I believe you are talking about a The Haven Courtyard Penthouse with Balcony, this is a very large room with all the amenities of The Haven, so yes, this would be good for 3 people. The sofa folds out to make a 3rd bed.

If you want more privacy, then you would need to go into one of these:

Most Expensive first:

The Haven Owner's Suite with Large Balcony (living room would be your son's bedroom)

The Haven 2 Bedroom Family Villa (which would have a separate bedroom and second bathroom for your son.)

Then still with Haven privileges, but outside of The Haven:

The Haven Aft Facing Penthouse with Master bedroom and Balcony (your son would sleep in the living room)

The Haven Forward Facing Penthouse with Master bedroom and Balcony (your son would sleep in the living room) I couldn't find video of Breakaway for this, but this is Getaway, the sister ship - should be the same:

That pretty much covers all options.
