I could be mistaken but it looks like it's in dry dock now but this isn't New Orleans...

That's Galveston. Any work that's to be done during a dry dock actually begins the minute the last passenger leaves the ship. Shipfinder.com shows Triumph in the Gulf headed for Freeport in the Bahamas. That's where Carnival usually sends it's ships for dry dock. By working while they're at sea on things that don't require the ship to be out of the water, they get a few extra days to get the job done. They'll most likely be putting the finishing touches on things as they pull into NOLA.

The same picture has been on the web cam for the Triumph for days now. The ship tracker shows it's in the Bahamas. Can't wait to have the Triumph back in New Orleans! Since we're up at 5am usually, we'll hopefully see her on the way into the port of N.O. on the 4th.

Hi Carol and Don! We're from Chalmette! We're sailing April 8th. It would have been nice to have met some people from the Parish on the Triumph. Enjoy your cruise!!

We were on the Triumph last year and the smoke in promonade deck was awful. I hated it. I'll never cruise on it again. I hope the increased smoke extraction carries over to the promonade deck, for the sake of none smokers.
