pwppaul Posted February 25, 2016 #1 Share Posted February 25, 2016 I see that the aged steaks and lobster on the Chops menu have a price by them. Does this mean it would cost an additional $21.00 for lobster in Chops plus the specialty dining fee? Or does this mean you can order in the MDR for $21.00? Thanks! ksmcdonald Posted February 25, 2016 #3 Share Posted February 25, 2016 Yes, an additional $21 over and above the specialty dining fee. Really? I thought once you paid the "cover charge" for a specialty dining, you could order anything on the menu with no additional charge. When did they change this policy? Very disappointing. We were going to order lobster at Chops this upcoming cruise. I'm glad I read this before going and being very upset at this charge!

Winghunter Posted February 25, 2016 #6 Share Posted February 25, 2016 You can also order the lobster from the MDR at the additional fee. (This is not the small lobsters served on the Fisherman's Platter.) Are they Maine lobsters or the smaller tough Caribbean lobsters? I've never been a huge fan of lobster night since they are not what we've grown accustomed to, smaller, tougher and less tasty than a Maine lobster. Don't get me wrong, I still eat a couple :)

kmorg1234 Posted February 25, 2016 #8 Share Posted February 25, 2016 We had a fabulous Maine Lobster in Vintages during the wine pairings dinner with no up charge. There was a fee for the pairings dinner, however.
