DMH15 Posted February 27, 2016 #26 Share Posted February 27, 2016 (edited) Why do we never hear of the airlines moving flight times earlier, only later? It sure causes grief for cruisers. Edited February 27, 2016 by DMH15
EyeSeaEwe Posted February 27, 2016 #27 Share Posted February 27, 2016 Anybody have any advice... our flight changed and we are landing at 1:20 at Miami International. Our cruise is scheduled to leave at 5:00 so I'm assuming we need to be on the boat by 3:00. Any advice on how to make it there on time and quick? Luckily it is a short cruise so we are just taking our carry-ons so we won't need to wait at baggage claim. Thanks :) First off you will be on a ship not a boat! :D You are cutting it WAY to close for comfort. With the plane SCHEDULED to land at 1:20, and adding in your time to get from the plane to the port you are leaving at the very most one hour of leeway. Then you still have to get checked in and anything else that has to be done before you can board. By law if an airline changes flight times they are REQUIRED to let you change flights at no charge. I would look into what that airline has available earlier in the day.

Actually my flight in to Miami the day before my cruise was scheduled to land at 4:45. Now it is scheduled for 3:30.
Rare Keith1010 Posted February 27, 2016 #29 Share Posted February 27, 2016 Change your flight. Too much risk you will miss the ship. Don't fly in that late. Keith
