Disembarkation Question

We will be cruising with NCL for the first time in July. Our return time to Seattle shows 8am. How does the disembarkation process work? Is self disembarkation an option? Is a 10:40 flight too early?

First a 10:40AM is definitely a no go . Security at SeaTac can be horrendous at that time. You can do self disembark . Depending on which pier they dock at . Count on an hour to get to the airport . 8AM arrival doesn't mean a 8AM disembark. It will probably start around 8:30 AM. If there is customs , you'll have a delay for that of about 30 minutes.

In July there are all kinds of community celebrations in downtown Seattle both Saturdays and Sundays to say nothing about all the weekend freeway or street construction projects, traffic can be a nightmare.

 

SeaTac airport is a good 15 miles south of the downtown area. I never booked a flight out of SeaTac returning from a cruise before 12:45 P.M.
