johnlisac Posted March 2, 2016 #1 Share Posted March 2, 2016 Can someone tell me about these staterooms on the Dream? We are gold members but have never stayed in this category. Sent from my SCH-R970 using Tapatalk
HHCharger17 Posted March 2, 2016 #2 Share Posted March 2, 2016 (edited) A Navigator's verandah is a stateroom with a balcony, but instead of it being completely open air, it is enclosed by a porthole cut out. These rooms are located towards the rear of the ship. Due to the porthole cut out, these verandahs don't receive a lot of sunlight. Also these rooms only sleep 3 compared to the normal verandah rooms which can sleep up to 5. While this description does explain what the Navigator's verandahs are on the Magic/Wonder, they're a little different on the Dream/Fantasy. They are typically a "regular" verandah, but may have a small (or large) blocked space due to the ship's superstructure. They are not actually enclosed, like on the Wonder/Magic. This is a Navigator's verandah on the Magic: [/img] And, on the Fantasy:
Loonbeam Posted March 2, 2016 #4 Share Posted March 2, 2016 We had one on the magic (per the pic above). Absolute best cabins ever for a rainy day OR if you don't like a ton of direct sun but want fresh air...
