rok233 Posted March 4, 2016 #1 Share Posted March 4, 2016 Can anyone tell me where I could find out what the blank space is across from my cabin (2169) on the Sunshine. A link or any info would be appreciated.

rok233 Posted March 4, 2016 Author #4 Share Posted March 4, 2016 Has anyone stayed in this cabin and can confirm what this particular space is?
cocoaloco Posted March 4, 2016 #5 Share Posted March 4, 2016 I was on the Sunshine a couple of months ago - stayed next door to your cabin. The open space is the crew service pantry. The most important thing in there is a huge ice machine. . . .
SkyMaster Posted March 4, 2016 #6 Share Posted March 4, 2016 I thought that space was where they test the big diesel engines that power the emergency generators. JUST KIDDING! It most likely is a pantry area, but the ice machine could make some noise. Actually, I wouldn't worry too much about it. If Cocoalaco has stayed right next to your cabin, and didn't complain, then it's probably just fine. ;) "SKY"
cocoaloco Posted March 4, 2016 #7 Share Posted March 4, 2016 It is a very quiet spot. And ..some]people... have been known to get one of the white plastic buckets from the Red Frog or Blue iguana and quietly fill it with ice every day when the crew isn't around... early afternoon is a good time....so I've heard. . ..:) or you can ask the crew to fill it if you see them in there...the stainless ice buckets they usually use are too small....
