When leaving from Bayonne is it cold on the ship? How long till we are in warm weather?

Had 3 sailings on Anthem and I found certain areas on the ship to be cold. Usually by the second sea day, the weather does get warmer. With the crazy weather we are having, it may be warm by the afternoon on the first sea day.

On the Quantum, other than the outside in the February winter, the indoors were comfortable. Sailed Oasis this past Feb. and needed sweatshirt on ship as we neared Nassau as it was damp, rainy and cool. Never left ship.

I was surprised at the temps on the Anthem. It wasn't bad! I never went anywhere on NCL Gem without a sweater. I even mentioned to my husband that I stopped bringing one with me after a while.

 

We have sailed out of the NY area many times. Last week, we were outside the next morning up to the afternoon before we docked. Other times it was even cool off Florida. Have fun.! Wishing you the beautiful weather we had. So happy they came home early, that ocean was a mess yesterday! Good call Royal!

Inside of the ship is not cold. I wore sleeveless dresses at night and was fine. It's the type of climate where you could wear shorts, or pants and a light sweater. Pretty comfy compared to other cruises where I was always cold. The second sea day it should warm up outside. You can access the solarium from an interior corridor so you don't have to go outside and get chilly to go there and be warm and toasty!
