How to activate credit card if staying in the Yacht Club

We are staying in the Yacht Club. Is there a machine to activate our credit card located there? Is this machine how we would activate our credit card or is there a different procedure when staying in the Yacht Club? Where is the nearest machine?

Yes there is a machine right by the concierge desk to activate your credit card. Easy to do. And no long lines to do so😃

As I'm new to MSC and YC... for what reason I need my CC?

 

I'm used to have my CC within the folio and do anything using boarding pass...

Any different at MSC?

You would need to register your credit card if that is how you will settle your final onboard bill. If by cash, then no need for credit card. It all depends on how you set it up to pay your statement for onboard expenses. Hope this explains it. You will still use your sea pass card for purchasing anything on board. They just don't take your credit card information at checkin.

This is in the YC by the Concierge. You will need to swipe your card for additional purchases, the spa, excursions, gifts or if you haven't prepaid your gratuities. That's about all I can think of.
