Mickeyc5 Posted March 8, 2016 #1 Share Posted March 8, 2016 We are a party of four with one WC and will be there next month off the Caribbean Princess. Strangely, many of the tours seem to be for parties of three? We have had success at other ports hiring a van and driver for the day and free styling. Is that something we could do here or, if not, does anyone have any other recommendations?
Wavesprite Posted March 9, 2016 #2 Share Posted March 9, 2016 We were just there and at the dock it seems like nothing but there is a nice shop (actually the nicest shopping we saw on our trip) and a little petting zoo/aviary with lots of birds and monkeys in the trees. You could hire taxis from there if you wanted. We chose to just do the little free zoo and shop and go back to the ship. It we HOT! Rare Keith1010 Posted March 15, 2016 #3 Share Posted March 15, 2016 I would go to Trip Advisor and see if you can find something a private tour/van that would accommodate the person in the WC. Keith

I will be there this fall with a disabled companion and having a difficult time finding ideas for fun.
Rare Peachypooh Posted September 16, 2017 #5 Share Posted September 16, 2017 When we visited there were designated cruise ship tours for wheelchair users.I believe they were listed as accessible designated tours. If I remember correctly the bus that picked us up to go on our tour was not designated that way and was really just a school bus type bus and the steps to get into it were steep with no wheelchair available areas.
