Water slide rules

Is this right that they have to be 9 AND 48 inches? My 6 year old is 48 inches already. How strict are they about this rule?

 

From MSC: I did verify with Operations that the water slide rules are 9 years old and 48 inches tall. We can only abide by the rules as they are written, but you can always ask and see if they’ll make an exception onboard.

I searched for this answer as well. I finally private messaged MSC on their FB page and got a response last week. They said the requirements for the slide (Divina) is at least 8 years of age OR 47 inches tall. Hope this helps!
