Carnival Glory: Just upgraded my cabin type and SAVED $$

I've been waiting for our cruise for some time now, so needless to say I've been on the website almost daily. Today I saw that Carnival is running a 36hr Sale promotion (ending at midnight). I called to see if I could change cabins, and they upgraded us from a Ocean View to a Balcony, and I saved $12! LOL. That's a Twilight Zone on the Lido for me!

Thanks. I was hoping the upgrade fairy would actually contact me, but I guess I had to be my own. LOL. But I guess itvonly makes sense that the closer the cruise gets, the more cancellations. And last minute cruisers are more likely to seek out cheaper cabins.

Nice. I did the Southern Caribbean on my first cruise. 8 GLORIOUS days. LOL. Can't wait to go back.
