Swimming onboard Mid June sailing?

Wondering if it will be warm enough to use the outdoor pool and splash pad on our mid June sailing to Alaska???

I've read that the weather and temps could be unpredictable. We are sailing on the Celebrity Solstice and they might let the kids us the indoor pool, but our 2 yr old is not potty trained yet so I'm assuming she can't use it...

So what do you think? Should I even bother packing swimming things for the kids? Those of you with little ones know it's not just the swimming suits, it's also the floaties, swim diapers and other paraphernalia taking up valuable luggage space! ;)

I can't speak for Celebrity but most cruise lines say that the toddler has to be potty trained and no swim diapers. You may be better asking on Celebrity's boards for ship specific.

As far as swimming in Alaska - yes, you can. Weather can be anything but I have gotten sunburned in Alaska before and have seen people wearing bathing suits on Glacier Bay day. Other times, complete opposite.

My theory is that kids will always swim if they can and bathing suits don't take much space so you might as well bring them. We're going at the end of May and my kid is planning to swim daily. Of course I'm lucky enough to have a swimmer big enough that I can supervise from the hot tub so you may have to take my bias into consideration ;)
