davis9267 Posted March 17, 2016 #1 Share Posted March 17, 2016 I will be sailing on the norwegian breakaway next month and was wondering if anyone knew what slot machine denominations are on the breakaway that you saw? Also, has anyone won or saw anyone else get a jackpot recently? Or has it been quite cold? Thanks in advance!

jusstice Posted March 17, 2016 #3 Share Posted March 17, 2016 Having been on the BA over 7 times, I can say they have always been tight. The occasional handpay is usually generated from the high-limit slots towards the back of the room on the cashier side and the dollar quick hits. Other than that, have never seen much big hit action. pcakes122 Posted March 17, 2016 #4 Share Posted March 17, 2016 I just got off the Breakaway on 2/28 and hit a Quick Hits $3K jackpot ($3 spin.) There were a couple of other similar Quick Hit jackpots on my cruise -- including one woman playing 30 cents hit 9 Quick Hits during a "Quick Hit Fever" bonus round (payout $1K.) The biggest hit during my cruise was on the $5 machines - woman playing max bet (5 credits/$25) hit 3 consecutive jackpots on the same machine within 30 minutes - first $12K (if I remember correctly) then two $5K jackpots. Even the casino folks couldn't get over that one! :) Good luck!!! :)
CalLuvsCrusingToo Posted March 17, 2016 #5 Share Posted March 17, 2016 Friend playing Wheel of Fortune dollar machine that takes 2 dollars max (Not $3) got a $1,000 spin on first spin. Boy was she shocked. lol I played dime 5 play UltX VP, and did well. (thats $5 per turn) Not cheap. Will agree, it seems higher denom did better than lowrolling if you have the bankroll for it. Ms. Fun Bunch Posted March 22, 2016 #8 Share Posted March 22, 2016 Was just on the Breakaway 2/13 - 2/20 played the first day of the cruise didn't hit hardly anything no matter what machine I played so I stayed away from the casino until the last night of the cruise. I was playing the penny slot Wonder 4 (the Buffalo Games) for $1.60 a spin for about 10 minutes didn't hit anything so I got frustrated and decided to do 1 spin for the max ($8.00) hit the bonus game with 4 gold coins - 1 was a super coin so I got 15 spins on all 4 games I ended up with a jackpot of $1389.70. Were there other denominations on that machine? We played ultimate x for nickels on the Gem. Thanks, Mik
