Grand Princess Mini Suite Question

We haven't sailed on Princess lately but I seem to remember there are a few mini-suites that have a cover and they are on the Dolphin deck? Is this correct and what suites are they? Also, what kind of shape is the Grand these days? We sailed on her in the Med to Egypt some years ago so have heard she does need some refurbishing. True?

Just got off the Grand. Nice ship, little things are starting to show age, but she does go into dry dock in Dec.

 

Can't tell you what staterooms have balcony cover, we were in a window suite.

There are 8 (?) minis on the Emerald deck aft that are covered.

Dolphin deck minis are not covered on the Grand .

Yes, there are some aft mini-suites on Emerald Deck that are covered. On the Grand Princess, these are E718 through E729 (there are six of these staterooms on each side). In September 2015, I had one of these mini-suites on the Crown Princess and really liked it.
