We booked Victor for a private driver as we only want to go to a nice beach with lounge chairs, umbrellas, good food and drink. (no monkeys stops etc) Does anyone know what beach he usually takes you to? or what would be a good one to go to? Docking in Coxen Hole? Thank-you

They will take you to any one of the beaches at West Bay Beach but they mostly take folks to Bananarama. Beachers is another good one. You made a great choice to go with Bodden and go see West Bay Beach. West End Village is very cool as well so try and fit that in as well. Have fun!

There's really not much to research except food and price. It's a beach with resort after resort and condos scattered in. We always use Victor's guide and were at Bananarama a couple of months ago. It's just what you described. Lounge chairs with food and drinks. We got there pretty early and stayed until about 11. By then it starts to get busy so we head to west end village for lunch. Quiet lunch and just enjoy the afternoon.

We haven't been to Roatan since 2014, but we love Half Moon Bay. No beach though. It has a short pier you walk out on and go down a small ladder to water about knee deep. Nice snorkeling there. We have seen octopus, lobster and many other fish at the reef which is not that far from the dock. There is also showers, a couple of changing rooms, a few lounge chairs, and a nice open air restaurant with a bar and shelter from the sun. Nice uncrowded place. We used Victor Bodden to get there.
