Rare Steelers0854 Posted March 27, 2016 #1 Share Posted March 27, 2016 This is going to be our first Disney Cruise and we have booked a Verandah. DWs sister is going to join us so there will be 3 adults in the room. I know that Disney is known for larger rooms and the split bathroom will be helpful, any concerns about having 3 adults in a room? Thanks for the advice! No. It's certainly cheaper than putting a single person in their own room (single supplement = 100%) We've done it in an Oceanview, there was plenty of room. moki'smommy Posted March 27, 2016 #3 Share Posted March 27, 2016 Shouldn't be a problem....I'd guess that you and your wife would take the big bed and sister would have the couch bed. Yes, the split bath will help, and you can choose to use the showers in the spa locker rooms if you hit a situation of everyone needing to shower at once. krissy2803 Posted March 27, 2016 #4 Share Posted March 27, 2016 We had three adults in a veranda room on deck 5 with no problems. One bonus for us was that deck 5 has "extra" restrooms located at both ends of the ship. ;) My husband and I took the bed and my friend had the couch bed. She did say the bed part was pretty hard, but I asked for a mattress topper for her and it all worked out.
Rare Steelers0854 Posted March 27, 2016 Author #5 Share Posted March 27, 2016 Thanks for the responses. I was less concerned about this on a Disney cruise due to the setup but it's good to hear from people with first hand experience.
moki'smommy Posted March 27, 2016 #6 Share Posted March 27, 2016 On our last cruise, our number 3 enjoyed sleeping on the balcony several nights! No problem with the room or making things work at all. And there was no problem with her bed; she just found that she enjoyed the balcony as long as it wasn't wet! When it rained the balcony got wet.
