grechster Posted March 31, 2016 #1 Share Posted March 31, 2016 Close to booking a cruise on the West Caribbean. Looking at 1575 or 1577 non Deck 10 which appear to be below the Solarium / Pool Bar. Some concerns about noise. Anyone care to share there thoughts / experiences about these cabins? Thanks Simon
grechster Posted March 31, 2016 Author #2 Share Posted March 31, 2016 The alternative is 1659 / 1661 in the aft of the ship?
Clarea Posted March 31, 2016 #3 Share Posted March 31, 2016 You may get some chair scraping noises in the early morning when the crew re-arranges things. Nothing available on deck 9?
bookemdano1 Posted March 31, 2016 #4 Share Posted March 31, 2016 Simon, We weren't in the exact same area (1605 & 1607) on the March 7th - 5 day cruise. We only heard noise (thumping/banging sounds) one night for about 10-15 minutes which we assumed was from the pool party that was going on that night. We were fine the other nights. This was during a spring break cruise with a huge contingent of college kids. I wouldn't hesitate to book deck 10 again based on our experience. HTH, Dan. grechster Posted March 31, 2016 Author #5 Share Posted March 31, 2016 As far as I can see there are no cabins available on Deck 9 which seems odd given that the cruise is still a year away.

What is the sail date? Are you looking for a stateroom that holds more than two?
grechster Posted March 31, 2016 Author #7 Share Posted March 31, 2016 5 days cruise commencing 8th April 2017. I plan to book 2 staterooms as I am not sure we can all comfortably fit into 150 sq feet. My children are 12 and 16 and I dont like the idea of having the pullman beds overhanging the main bed.
