amscene1 Posted April 4, 2016 #1 Share Posted April 4, 2016 While looking at a near (April 10th) getaway departure , I noticed cabin category availability is over 60 percent. The ship sails in less than 7 days and the prices are stable and have not "dumped". My guess is to maintain brand value and image. My thought is, how much more of that can Ncl take? No wonder their getting the getaway "out of dodge" next year to avoid another bad booking season. Are these ships sailing with 25-50 percent reduced passengers? Can any recent cruisers comment? I wish they would dump cabins lower for my cruising pleasure!

Rare www3traveler Posted April 5, 2016 #3 Share Posted April 5, 2016 From what I have understood both ships have sailed over the past few weeks with very high numbers 5300 or so with The Escape and into the 4500's for The Getaway-- Spring Break. Numbers will settle a bit until the summer vacation season beginning in mid May, then they will be high again.
