Nassau 6/3 ?????

I read somewhere that Nassau celebrates their Independence Day on the 3rd of June (Friday). Our ship will be in port that day. Anyone have jetty issues on such a holiday?
planning to head out toward Sandals, Malia, etc... Love Beach via the jitters/jitney for a few hours. Wondering if the bus schedule will actually be running

Great 😔😔😔

We hit St Maarten on Good Friday this year and many things were also closed. 😔 Glad we had planned to hand out at the Holland House for the day and totally relaxed. Now what to do in Nassau??? The Love beach is awesome, low key, not crowded and easy to get to by bus. Taxis will charge a fortune. 😔😔. At least I in On my way! Now so we can have a back up plan. No Junkanoo beach - just ok beach. No Atlantis - too many people and a rip off.... No renting a car - don't want the responsibility..... Grr....... 🌴😎🌴
