bumbletigger Posted April 10, 2016 #1 Share Posted April 10, 2016 We will be in Cabo in December, and we have never been there. My DH would like to eat and drink at Cabo Wabo Cantina. We are only in port from 7am-2pm on the Island Princess. What is the best way to get there? Can we walk? Is it safe? Should we grab a taxi? Any insight is appreciated. Ine Posted April 10, 2016 #2 Share Posted April 10, 2016 Yes it it absolutely safe to walk. I donot know their openinghours, but it walkable from the tenderdock. (You are aware you have to dender, the ship will not dock.) If you put in Cabo Wabo in Google maps, it will show you where it is located.
Murphey Posted April 11, 2016 #3 Share Posted April 11, 2016 Yes, walkable...you will encounter place after place to eat and drink.....But, be prepared for the heat/humidity. Bring water. You'll have a great time.
CWcruisers Posted April 28, 2016 #4 Share Posted April 28, 2016 December is not hot and humid, sometimes, it can even be a bit cool in the shade. Cabo Wabo will not be open at 7 am but other restaurants along the marina will be. You could stroll the marina, stop at a few watering holes, and that is heading it the right direction for Cabo Wabo. Google their hours. Cabo Wabo is on Marina Blvd, one street behind the marina. Go there for drinks, the food is expensive and nothing to write home about. If you want good seafood/sushi, the locals all go to the Tiki Bar located on the Marina. Another popular restaurant with really good food is Solomon's Landing, also on the marina. SadieN Posted April 28, 2016 #5 Share Posted April 28, 2016 Solomon's Landing has very good breakfast entrees. If you're a bit adventurous, Taco Loco and Las Guayamacas are both very good. Both near Cabo Wabo. Sent from my iPhone using Forums mobile app
