JLN321 Posted April 12, 2016 #1 Share Posted April 12, 2016 I will be going on Liberty this July. I would like to try some spa services (massage and pedicure). Although the prices are more expensive on the ship than if I were to get it done at the mall, I would like to treat myself since I've worked 3 jobs this past year. Anyone have any experience? How was it? Do I still have to leave additional tip? I've never even had a massage before!
Clarea Posted April 12, 2016 #2 Share Posted April 12, 2016 You don't have to leave an additional tip as they add 18% to the price now. Also, you can get some deals if you can arrange to get a treatment on a port day.
PompeySailor Posted April 12, 2016 #3 Share Posted April 12, 2016 Our DD used the spa on our last cruise, she had a facial and absolutely loved it. We booked it on the ship and she got a 20% discount, this covered the gratuity. $99 total and she was in there a good hour. She said it was well worth it. Enjoy:)
Mary521 Posted April 12, 2016 #4 Share Posted April 12, 2016 Get the mani/pedi at home - get a massage on board, you'll love it! Wait to book when you're on board if your schedule is flexible. They do deals. And as someone else said you'll get a better deal if you do it on a port day.
QTBabyNurse Posted April 12, 2016 #5 Share Posted April 12, 2016 I got a manicure once onboard and it barely lasted to the end of the cruise. Save your money... Sent from my iPhone using Forums mobile app
